Caves Folly Nurseries
We are specialist growers of Perennials, Grasses,Herbs, Alpines and vegetable plants. All our plants are grown in organic peat free compost.
Established in 1979, and located in the village of Colwall, the nursery lies on the Herefordshire slopes of the Malvern Hills. We are, as far as we know, one of only a handful of commercial producers of organically grown Perennial plants in the UK. Plants are grown to Soil Association standards (Lic.no.G7379) in organic peat free compost.
We also sell plants grown in Peat Free , organic compost which are from a non-organic source (ie. plug or seed). These plants are cared for (within our S.A. regulations) the same way as all the others once they reach our nursery!
We use a Soil Association recommended compost. Some of our Wholesale customers include The National Trust, Natural England, Garden Organic, W.R.A.P , Yeo Valley Holt Farm Gardens and The Royal Household.
We grow and supply a wonderful selection of Herbaceous Perennials, Herbs, Alpines,Grasses and vegetables plants to;
- Garden centres and nurseries/shops
- Landscapers/Architects
- Plants contract grown to order for shows and planting schemes.

The nursery is open to the public along with our shop selling local, home grown and organic produce. We also stock a range of garden sundries suitable for organic growers.
